We had a great Christmas. It's always a little sad to be away from home but this could be our last Christmas together just us three so we made the best of it. Being in Germany is just magical. They really know how to celebrate this season. Christmas Markets in almost every town, lights galore, treats with so much chocolate, and oh their chocolate is the best, wish you could all taste it. And they continue to celebrate Christmas until after January.
Christmas eve night was fun, we had friends over for lots of eating and games. Carter left cookies for Santa and Santa ate his cookies and left presents. It was fun laying each present and felt like I was too grown up to be doing this, where was my mom? :)

When Carter woke up he went straight to his stocking and grabbed all the candy, not too surprising. He could care less about most of it. I pretty much unwrapped all of his presents while he was holding on to the candy.

We went to church and it was amazing. A lady in my ward put together a German Christmas program and we sang Christmas songs in German. It was great, and we really felt the spirit.
We came home to make our feast. We had the missionaries over with a few others. We finished opening presents and Carter had more fun standing on them. Nate's parents gave him a trampoline. We thought it was going to be an exercising one, but on no, this thing is awesome! It comes with the sides too that protect them from falling.

He loves it...and so do we. I think I see Nathan more on it then Carter. He says he's trying to stretch it, but I know he loves it too.
Hope everyone also had a great Christmas!
